Particularly worrisome to baseball betting fans looking to make a nice score with the Mariners is that they were just swept by the Washington Nationals and lost the first game in this three-game sports betting series to the Florida Marlins by five runs. Things might not get much better for the Mariners tonight as they send Felix Hernandez to the mound. Hernandez has a terrific ERA at 2.81, but his record of 5 and 5 doesn’t give MLB betting fans much confidence.
The Florida Marlins, under the steady hand of GM Michael Hill, have done very well with practically no money in the kitty. They start Scott Olsen who has pitched well this season. Olsen has a record of 4 and 3 and an ERA of 3.27.
