 Taxi! Seattle Mariners Give GM Bavasi the Boot What does the worst record in Major League Baseball get you? A pink slip, apparently. That's the news out of Seattle this afternoon as General Manager Bill Bavasi - who has been with the club for five seasons - has been fired from his role with the team.
