Cleveland Indians @ Kansas City Royals
The Kansas City Royals had a surprising start to the baseball betting season. Safe to say they caught a lot of people off-guard when they won six of their first eight games. Even former Royal, George Brett, suggested that the team has a chance to win the division.
But now we’re back to reality.
The Royals are 21-32 and comfortably back in the basement of the American League Central.
And now they’ve hit a low-point as Jose Guillen made like Ozzie Guillen and unleashed a profanity-laced tirade in the media about the Royals struggles.
The Royals have lost 11 straight games and are completely reeling. During this losing streak, the Royals have averaged 2.5 runs per game.
Now they face the Cleveland Indians, who have equally struggled. They have lost 10 of 12 and have averaged just over three runs per game in their sports betting losses.
Look for the Royals to snap out of it a little bit and take a couple in this online betting series.

Pittsburgh Pirates @ St. Louis Cardinals
The Pittsburgh Pirates, who have posted 15 consecutive losing seasons, are surprisingly close to .500 this year. They are 25-28, which puts their streak in some jeopardy.
But look for the gap to expand this weekend as they head to St. Louis.
Busch Stadium has been kind to the Cardinals this year as they are 19-11 back home and have won four of their last five there.
The Pirates have all sorts of problems with their starting pitching, which was supposed to be their strength.
Ian Snell, Tom Gorzelanny and Zach Duke, two of three supposed cornerstones of the Pirates pitching staff, have been brutal.
Duke is 2-3 with a 4.55 ERA and he’s allowed eight earned runs in his last 10 innings pitched.
Snell is 2-4 with a 5.46 ERA and he’s allowed nine earned runs in his last 11 innings.
Gorzelanny is 4-5 with an ERA of 7.38 and he’s allowed eight earned runs on in his last 5.2 innings pitched.

Toronto Blue Jays @ Los Angeles Angels
The Toronto Blue Jays have won seven of eight after their manager hit the hot seat and now they head to Anaheim.
Pitching has been a strong point for the Jays as they try to get back into playoff contention. The emergence of Shaun Marcum and Dustin McGowan has taken the pressure off of Roy Halladay and A.J. Burnett.
McGowan will start on Friday, Marcum will start Saturday and Burnett will start Sunday.
The Angels have won seven of 10 and are in a different class than the Jays. The Angels are the sports betting favorites in the AL West and have been playing like it.
They will match up with Jered Weaver, who has allowed only two earned runs in his last 20.1 innings pitched, John Lackey, who has an ERA of 2.05 and Jon Garland, who has allowed only six earned runs in his last 27.1 innings pitched.
