After an outstanding victory when Kentucky Derby winner Big Brown crossed the finish line 4 3/4 lengths ahead of the other contenders, all signs point to Big Brown as the odds-on favorite to win the 2008 Preakness Stakes. This Saturday, the colt will face 12 other three-year-olds in the $1 million, 1 3/16 mile race. "It looks like it's Big Brown's party," Yankee Bravo trainer Paddy Gallagher said of the $1 million Preakness at the Pimlico Race Course. "We're just glad to be a part of it." If Big Brown can win the Derby, Preakness and the June 7 Belmont Stakes, he will become the first horse since Affirmed in 1978 to claim the Triple Crown. Big Brown looks to see if he can capture the middle jewel of the Triple Crown at the 133rd Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday May 17th. Post-time for the Preakness Stakes is 6:15 p.m. ET and will be televised on NBC. Don't forget to get your Preakness betting in the Bodog Racebook today. - Bodog Beat
