    Default 2008 Preakness Post Positions - Triple Crown Gambling

    Pre-race favorite is Kentucky Derby winner Big Brown, who drew post position seven for the 133rd running of the Preakness Stakes, which is set for this coming Saturday, May 17.

    Online Horse Betting

    Big Brown was slated to compete against the fifth-place finisher Recapturetheglory, the only other Derby horse who it was thought would continue on to Baltimore, Md. However, it was announced that Recapturetheglory was out of the Preakness after showing a fever last Friday night. On Tuesday it was announced that Gayego (post position 12), who finished 17th in Louisville, would be added to the ticket for Saturday's second leg of the Triple Crown.
