There is a lot of excitement over Rachael Alexandra's entry into the Preakness. Many feel the Philly will be the outright favorite come post time. She will definitely figure into the mix, but I still like Popa Clem and Pioneer of the Nile 1-2.
The latest odds on Rachael Alexandra are 8-5, even though she going off from the 13 position. Pioneer of the Nile is next at 5-1. It will be interesting to see where the big money goes closer to Saturday.
Friesan Fire is 6-1 and a good bet.
He had a very bad showing in the Derby, so I'm leary on lunking any money on him in the Preakness.
