Default Horse Race Gambling – Big Apple Bombers

Granted 50 or so days of horse racing betting is not an eternity and one can not make tried and true concrete conclusions from that sample but after over 7 weeks, hard-working horse betting enthusiasts can start to find online gambling trends among riders and trainers that they can capitalize on the rest of the meeting.

The jockey race at Belmont has started like a runway and all the riders better get serious if they want to catch Eibar Coa this meet. Popping at 22%, he has excelled on the turf courses winning at 27% and a key number is how he has done when he has gotten a preferred favorite.

When Coa gets teamed with a chalk, he has greeted the cameraman 39% of the time and only 2 riders; Rajiv Maragh and Javier Castellano have had better success with chalk.

Those that have taken Kent Desormeaux this meet on a steady diet have had a tough go. Kent D. has 15 wins early in the meet, but his average win payoff of $6.40 is the lowest in the colony among the top dozen pilots.

Value riders hitting at double digits on the average include Cornelio Velasquez, Alan Garcia, Channing Hill, Jorge Chavez and bug boy Sebastian Morales.

The lesson to be learned by clever horse bettors as far as riders so far at Belmont is to avoid taking short numbers on Kent D., double up with Coa on the grass with a preferred horse and look for value in the gimmicks with Velasquez, Garcia, Hill, Chavez and Morales.

The training race so far at Belmont has been hot and heavy and there is no clear-cut choice as to who will win the title.

The top 7 conditioners are separated by only 7 wins. Although they are not the same 7, seven trainers have popped at 20% or over this stand.

In the good things come in small packages department comes James Jerkens. The some of Hall of Famer Allen has only saddled 36 runners to kick off the meet but 11 succeeded and 56% have been in the money.

Three gentlemen have done super by spotting stock correctly and have hit at 50% or higher with favorites. Those trainers are Barclay Tagg, Bruce Levine and Mike Hushion.

Only two guys have been stellar with turf runners and again, it’s Tagg and Christophe Clement.

Tagg is hitting at a tremendous 33% while Clement has chimed in at 26%.

Year in and year out the competition is keen in New York among trainers but cagey horse bettors can get value if they look in the right places. Only 4 conditioners in the top dozen have averaged double-digit mutuals this meet and surprisingly, the leader of the pack is Randi Persaud, who is having the meeting of his life.

Persaud has seen 7 of his first 36 starters win and they have hit at an average of a fat 8-1.

Thing change in this game, it’s cyclical in nature, but horse bettors that pay strict attention have to keep a keen eye on these conditioners this meet, especially the guys that have been winning at prices.
