Saturday’s Vincent Moscarelli Memorial Stakes at Delaware Park was host to Fabulous Strike’s, a five-year old gelding, easy winning comeback. Fabulous Strike hasn’t run since last September when he won the Vosburgh Grade I at Belmont Park. A lengthy infection in his lungs knocked him out of consideration for the Breeder’s Cup. Todd Beattie, Fabulous Strike’s trainer, works him patiently and slowly and it’s proved to be successful, as he is 10th in 15 starts. ...
