One of my favorite horse exotic wagers is the Pick 3 for several reasons. For instance, I believe it’s easier to select the winners in three consecutive races than the order of finish in a trifecta.
On occasion I bet a $1 trifecta that costs $8: 1-2 with 1-2-3 with 1-2-3-4. But I must find a horse that’s better than 3-1 to include in the top two.
