Biron blanks Caps as Philly evens series

R.J. Umberger and Jeff Carter each scored a goal and Martin Biron recorded his first playoff shutout as the Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Washington Capitals, 2-0, in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals at Verizon Center. Biron stopped all 24 shots he faced for Philadelphia, which tied the best-of- seven series, 1-1. Cristobal Huet turned in a solid performance between the pipes for the Capitals, stopping 39-of-41
