Chris Chelios won't be with the Detroit Red Wings next season. Wings general manager Ken Holland tells The Detroit News and the Detroit Free Press he met with the 47-year-old and Chelios wouldn't be offered another contract.
Will Chelios end up elsewhere? If so where? Or will he quietly bow out?

There are very few, if any 47 year old professional athletes, especially in hockey, that can still compete at a high level.
There comes a time for every great athlete to hang them up, and this was Detroits way of telling Chelios this is his.
Is he retiring? I assume...
Otherwise, think he'll want to go to Chicago?
