Pens take game two route Canes 7-4

Evgeni Malkin's hat trick gave the Pens a 7-4 win and a 2-0 series lead over Carolina. My opinion is this could be the biggest mis-match of the postseason. My play. Pens in 4 maybe 5at best.

The Pens do appear to be dominent in this series. I can't see this going past 5 or 6 games. Carolina just doesn't have the same firepower that the Pens do.

The Canes can't handle their speed. I thought the one neutralizing factor would have to be Cam Ward but he gave up seven goals. The Pens just have too much speed for the Hurricanes to corral. And the Pens also control the puck quite a bit.

Like Philly with goaltending, it seems the Canes have had a terrible blueline for a whole decade, and it's showing in this series...

It starting to look like a Pittsburgh-Detroit final. That will be a great match up as they are the best teams in the league.

I like the idea of Pitts and Detroit in the finals. I think that could be the best showdown the NHL has had in a few years.

That match up would have 7 games written all over it and attrack some fans back to the sport. Hockey seems to be a forgotten sport for the mainstream sports fan.
