Do you Care About the 2010 NHL Draft Rankings?

The latest edition of Red Line Report has rated London Knights centre John Tavares third behind Hedman and Duchene as a result of his performance this this year's OHL playoffs.

The New York Islanders get to choose between John Tavares and Victor Hedman it looks like, who are still projected to be the TOP 2 players taken.

The islanders won the NHL's draft lottery - The Draft is June 26 at Montreal's Bell Centre.

Very interesting. I still think Tavares warrants the top pick. He has that special hockey vision that overcomes his poor skating...like a poor man's Gretzky (I said POOR MAN'S -- not comparing him to Gretzky). He protects the puck so well...I think he'll be a perennial 90-plus point guy.

conspiracy theory: he tanked in the playoffs to avoid the Islanders! Haha.

I guess you could say that I really do not care about the 2010 NHL draft rankings as it is not something I normally follow. If I were an Islander fan I would be excited about having the first pick.
