Three road teams in a row? You bet your ass! I’m fully aware that Tampa is coming off a five game losing skid and is winless in their last five games on the road. They’re also 1-6 SU in their last 7 games on the road. So why do I expect a win? Because Barry Melrose’s mouth displays the idiocy that has put Tampa in this turbulent spot in the first place. Their former coach, who only had 16 games to prove his mettle, disappointed the Tampa brass and the Lightning sports betting faithful in the opening months of the NHL betting season. After he blasted the team, rookie Steve Stamkos, and the franchise in a radio show this past week, I expect the talented Tampa team to rally behind those bulletin board remarks and prove that they aren’t the NHL’s punching bag.
