Sergio Garcia parred the first playoff hole and won THE PLAYERS Championship.

The conditions for the final round were brutal with high gusting winds and Garcia played the front nine in a very solid 1-over-par. He made his move starting at the 11th hole and put three birdies with one bogey together. Garcia missed a short birdie putt at the 16th hole to take the lead, but he made up for it at the 18th hole when he was able to save par after his tee shot found the deep right rough. The playoff started this year on the famous 17th par-3 island hole and Garcia got to watch Paul Goydos come up short in the water. Garcia took a very aggressive line for his tee shot and the wind blew it to four-feet away from the hole. He missed the birdie putt, but tapped in for par and his biggest career victory.

I was planning on watching this as I had decided to bet on it. But I got pulled away at the last minute. Anyone put anything on it? It was a fluke for me really, I didn't read a whole lot about the odds before betting on Garcia.
