While most of the big names will be heading across the pond to start preparing for the Open, this could be a good chance for a lesser known name to get a tour victory.

Here is a good long shot-David Duval. It was impressive in the U.S. Open, so it could be time he puts it all together and wins one.

LMAO...I totally agree with you. After watching Duval at the US OPEN I think he's totally 100% ready to start adding to his $$ total this year. He's my sleeper this week.

Hard to bet against Kenny Perry though

Even though Perry has won twice this year, I just do not like his chances this week.

I agree that somebody who has never won on tour could get their first this week....I just do not know who, so the field it is.

Going into the final round Matt Jones and Darren Stiles are tied for first at -14. I'm not sure if either of these guys have ever won on tour before, but today could be their first.

Steve Stricker with a monster -7 in the final round pulls out the win in the John Deere with a three stroke advantage over Zach Johnson. Darren Stiles caves in the final round, shooting even par to finish 9th.

I like Duval as well. Long overdue to post a major win. Just read . "Letters to a Young Golfer". It's from Bob to David. Good read for golf fans.
