    Icon27 Andy North's Prediction

I watched Andy North go through his formula for who can or cannot win the U.S. Open this week. There were a number of factors, but the most interesting is that no one from Europe or Asia has won a U.S. Open since Tony Jacklin in 1970.

After it was all said and done, Geoff Ogilvy is the only golfer who can win this week.

Ian Poulter may have a chance. He did very well in the Players Championship taking 2nd and not to bad with 5th at the Quail Hollow Championship in April.

Tiger's US Open betting odds are the best all the way and the wet conditions will only make his length that much more of an advantage...

A couple of big names are lighting it up in the first round led by Mike Weir, currently at -6. They are going to have to get their birdies today, as the weather is going down hill from here.

You got to love Mike Weir's performance in this year's US Open. It's a shame he just a little too far back to have a good chance to win, but you never know. He could be this years Rocco Mediate.
