    Default Transitions Championship Final Results

    Transitions Championship

    Player -----------Today --Thru --Rank --Total
    Goosen, Retief -- -1 -- F -- 1 -- -8
    Quigley, Brett -- -3 -- F -- T2 -- -7
    Howell III, Charles -- -2 -- F -- T2 -- -7
    Goggin, Mathew -- -4 -- F -- T4 -- -6
    Stricker, Steve -- -2 -- F -- T4 -- -6

Retief Goosen took an important step toward rejoining the elite in golf Sunday by closing with a 1-under 70 for a one-shot victory in the Transitions Championship, his first PGA TOUR win in nearly four years.

Goosen had a two-shot lead with three holes to play on the demanding Copperhead Course at Innisbrook, when just like everyone else, he struggled to hang on. The two-time U.S. Open champion barely made it.

Goosen had a great first round in last weeks tournament at Doral then faded from the field. I was happy to see him put 4 solid rounds together and win on Sunday, as he is lining up to be a factor at Augusta.

Do you guys bet on golf? I'd need to study this a bit more before I could do this, wouldn't you just bet on Tiger every week? LOL

I don't bet on golf, but I do bet when playing golf, and these are two totaly different concepts. The problem with betting on Tiger is you have to bet alot to win a little
