Tiger Woods and Rocco Mediate won’t be there, but 150 other golfers will be taking part in the 2008 Travelers Championship, which kicks off Thursday at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut (Golf Channel, 3 pm ET).

Mediate lost the 2008 U.S. Open to Woods in a thrilling, 19-hole playoff on Monday.
