| If you never take chances, you have nothing to gain. My best experiences have come by when I least expected them, and thought I had made sucky bets. I really think it's worth it. What's the worst thing that could happen weighed out against the best? |

| I don't think you can really weigh it up worst against best because of course the worst is that you lose all your money and have none to place a bet tomorrow with. There's no ways around it, and it isn't really balanced out by a win that you didn't achieve. |

| You have a point BetOnThis, but as someone else in this thread said, if your going to gamble, gamble! Its all a chance thing in the beginning. Sometimes a safer strategy is to wait till mid-season and start your betting...sure your loosing some long odds but then the teams have somewhat of a track record.
