Default Elevator Ghost Smells Like Marketing

This just in… after people die they become transparent monsters that wonder around scaring people! Or… it might just be that a new Asian horror film (like The Grudge, Shutter, The Ring, etc.) is coming out soon with some very effective viral marketing. Either way, we're pretty frightened.

The latest supernatural YouTube sensation is the Elevator Ghost (see above video). It's far less scary than the previous supernatural YouTube sensation, the sideways walking Gnome.

If you're not too scared you might want to check out Bodog's terrifying celebrity props like whether Mariah Carey will announce that she is pregnant this year.

    Ooooo, scary we know!

I really didn't expect that ending, whoever put that together did a good job because I almost jumped. I was a bit hesitant to watch it at first, I'm tired of always getting those "screamers" on Youtube when I search for the word "ghost".

Screamers? I'm not sure that I know what those are.

I don't use Youtube too much anymore, other than to catch up on some old sports clips I've missed. As for this video, it's a bit creepy. I didn't expect it. Has anybody gone to the link it gives at the end?

I think that the "Screamers" that Cutler is referring to are the videos that promise you something interesting, usually something spooky. It usually tells you to focus on a small thing on the screen and to turn up your speakers and get close to the monitor. When you're all nice and focused, something (usually something spooky) pops up on the screen and a loud sound plays.

Very creepy, but clearly some sort of marketing campaign for whatever the link was at the end. I didn't get a chance to go there yet though.

Fortunately I have yet to come across these "screamers".

I don't know why you would possibly want to find a screamer, but if you really want to see what one of them is, just run a search on Youtube and you'll find some. Watching people's genuine reactions to them is pretty interesting though.

I dont think anyone was expecting the end mark but it was pretty interesting though it did take way too long to get there. Almost fell asleep afew times there...

I think this is a publicity stunt, if it is I can't wait to see what movie they are planning to create. I got bored halfway through the video then came back and watched the rest

I don't know what they are trying to advertise, but I definitely think that it is going to work. If it's a movie, I think they did a really good job of making the viewer wonder what the heck is going on.

Britney Spears being pregnant again sounds a lot scarier to me but is more fun to bet on.

What are the odds now? Anyone cashing in?
