Nick Hogan was just sentenced to eight months in jail as well as five years probation. (Courtesy VH1) Nick Hogan was immediately taken into custody after the judge read his sentence: eight months in jail and five years of  probation in the car crash that left his friend, John Graziano, seriously ...

I think he was let off relatively easy. I keep thinking about how ticked off I would be if it were my son that was put into that condition. I would be ticked that he only got 8 months, when his friend is going to be a vegetable for the rest of his life.

This one is definitely sliding right on through the judicial system - what a shame about his friend. I heard this punk on TV talking about his friend deserved what happened due to some things he had done in the past.

I get confused each and every time I try to keep up with this sort of thing. Maybe I should stick to sports.

Sticking to sports is right, every time I get started with celebrity news I start get to get a little annoyed. He should be in prison for basically ending the life of his friend. He was drinking underage, driving without a license, not to mention drinking and driving at the same time. Ridiculous that he didn't get more time.

Eight months in jail is nothing, but I'm sure he and his family are going to act like it was the worst experience ever. I can't stand when "celebrities" get off easy. It's disgusting.

When I hard about this I thought I would be sick. And news sources say that Nick was "happy" with the sentence? If I was responsible for doing something like that to a friend I wouldn't be happy, I would want to die

You know if you watch that Hogan knows best show long enough you will see exactly what Nick is - a spoiled brat who tries to get away with anything. I'm sorry but friend or not, that being my kid his ass would be wupped and there would be no more paying for anything of his needs. 8mo, and lets bet since this is a betting site, he does MAYBE two and poof hes out on parole or something.

How can he be happy after doing that to his friend, even if it were a freak accident and I'm fully sober and that happened to a friend of mine I would have lost it, I guess this shows how much his friends really mean to him.

I agree with you Dean. I watch that shoe off and on and I always thought that Nick was a spoiled little brat who will never grow up. I wish he'd gotten the full sentence that a regular person would have

I have a friend of a friend who is going through a case right now where they were street racing and killed somebody. I hate how families stand behind the person who is wrong, even to the point of not wanting them to serve time. The case of the "friend of a friend" reminds me a lot of this one, a lot of the same factors are involved.
