Three months ago, New York Giants linebacker Antonio Pierce recorded 11 tackles in a 20-17 Superbowl victory over the New England Patriots.

Today, he was tackling coffee and receptionist duties for Howard Stern.

Turns out that Pierce accepted an intern role with Stern, the highly-successful host of his eponymous Sirius Satellite Radio show. Pierce - who wants to go into broadcasting once his playing days are over - took the opportunity to "learn the biz" in one of the harshest radio environments on the airwaves.

The Super Bowl champion was subjected to Stern hijinks, answering questions about his sex life and the NFL lifestyle.

Pierce spent the morning answering phones, getting hazed by Stern staff veterans via prank calls, directing Stern's TV show, critiquing the throwing motion of members on the staff and towel-whipping those who pranked him earlier in the morning.
