Boring Sports

What sports do you think are the most boring to play? What about to watch? What about to bet on?

My prediction is that most people will choose golf, but I'm curious as to what others are thinking.

I find golf relaxing, not boring.

I can't stand watching poker. I will not sit down in front of the t.v. to watch others play poker. yaawwn Sure, maybe some pick up some tips, but I want to play with my buddies, not watch others play for way more than coupons and gas money.

I think it's at least a little bit interesting to watch poker, but I see how it can be boring for others. Golf is very relaxing, but I would still say it's the most boring to watch and/or bet on.

I enjoy golfing, and yes, it is very relaxing, but I just cannot watch it or bet on it. I didn't mean to imply that golf was at all boring to play, just not most people's cup of tea to sit down and watch on TV.

Curling. Even wikipedia lists it as the most boring sport ever "compared to the excitement of darts". lol Getting the stone down the ice can take up to a half an hour. Can you imagine watching rocks slide across the floor for a half an hour...let alone an entire game? Or a sports anchor? What's he gonna say for that long? "Wow, Jim, that sure is a smooth rock, the ice is just at a perfect angle and slipperyness to take that shot home."

Hmm.. would I rather watch curling or golf? I say golf. I'm surprised that curling didn't cross my mind before.

What about fishing? I'd say that's one sport (or activity) that can be pretty boring to do or watch.

I agree with you there, fishing is a very boring sport for me to watch. I enjoy fishing, and golfing though but I couldn't be able to watch it lol

I enjoy golfing, but it's really not one that's meant to be exciting enough to watch, unless you get to go to an actual tournament I suppose. As far as fishing goes, that's got to be the absolute most boring sport. I have been fishing, and it's a whole lot of fun, but it's the environment that makes it fun. If you are just watching it, you don't get that.
