    Default Lottery Tickets

Do you ever buy lottery tickets? Do you buy them in hopes of actually winning, just for fun, or out of habit? What are your favorite lottery tickets to buy?

This might sound weird to some, but I actually enjoy the Bingo and Crossword scratchers. I pay three dollars, and then it entertains me for a few minutes while I scratch them. If I win, it's just a bonus. I usually save them for long trips in the car though.

I have played the Bingos and Crosswords before, but sometimes I just like to get straight to the point with the simple scratchers where you only have to scratch off like three or four things. I guess it does take some of the fun out of it though.

I've always considered them a gag gift. Though my Mom is still hoping one of those tickets will be like that America's Funniest Home Videos...and be a $10,000 winner. I said, "Ma. The funny part is that the ticket is a phony. That's why it's on Funniest home videos." She's still hoping for the big win.

I have seen the gag gift lottery scratchers at the cigar shop in the mall here. I think they're a funny prank to pull for the people watching, but definitely not for the person who thinks they just won!

My friend in highschool was very lucky with them. She'd go out and get one here and one there...in one night she won $50.

I really like scratchers, but unfortunately I just don't have very great luck. I've never won more than a couple bucks. I buy them just for fun, mainly.

My grandma actually asks for them for her birthday, and that's all she gets because she already has everything!

I buy them for fun and also to win. I also buy them to help charities. Once in a while, in my area, part of the lottery tickets profits will be donated to various charities.

I did not know that the lottery tickets ever helped out charities, at least in my area. I guess that I will have to keep that in mind. Lottery tickets can be a lot of fun, but if I'm also helping somebody out, I guess it's even more worth it.
