do you cook?

I just have to ask, does anyone on these forums cook? I don't mean the instant stuff but to actually cook stuff. My brother is great cook but I didn't find that out until a while ago but he pissed me off when he made a comment about how men "like me" wouldn't know how to cook. I am decent in the kitchen even if I am a sports nut!

I am fairly decent in the kitchen. I'm not anything special though. I can cook a couple decent pasta dishes, and I'm great at making breakfasts. I'm not into making anything fancy though.

I'm definitely more of an "instant" person, if I'm the one cooking at least. I just don't have the patience that is required to cook, and I'm just as happy eating a bologna sandwich as I am cooking some elaborate five course meal.
