Video games are a sport, right? The fastest thumb wins. Or at least teens would have us believe it...eye-hand coordination, etc etc. So have you seen this new article at wikipedia? Talk:Video game controversy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Anyone play the more violent games, or do your kids? For some reason the discussion reminds me of the online gambling arguments, the dangers, the people in control and how much authority do they have to regulate. Just thought it was interesting. |

I play a lot of the more violent video games, but to be honest, I just don't think that video games make people act violent in real life. I play GTA, but I'm not a violent person in any way. If video games give you crazy ideas, you're already batshit insane to begin with, in my opinion. The arguments do remind me of the arguments against online gambling, and I have the same response to the people who are against me gambling online - leave me alone! |
