Underdogs
Do you ever find yourself rooting for the underdog just because they are the underdog?
I find myself doing this all the time, I really don't even know why. The majority of the time I'm rooting for the losing team, but I just go with my gut feeling.
I'm a Red Sox fan, and part of the love was just hoping to be there for when they finally won the championship. My kids don't know what agony is, they've never waited like my generation or my father's.
While I'm hoping the Cubs' own curse will lift, I don't know as I can switch gears.
