Riding high after ousting Arsenal 5-3 on aggregate, Liverpool must now face another Premiership rival from London in the UEFA Champions League.
After a 2-0 victory over Fenerbahce, Chelsea will travel to Merseyside for the third semi-final meeting in four years between the two Premiership clubs.
At +135 the Reds are a slim favorite at Anfield, while at +210 a Chelsea win pays just five cents more than a draw.
However, Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez faces a huge task in getting Steven Gerrard and company to focus on the task at hand in light of the ongoing public row between the club's American co-owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks.
But the Spanish gaffer has what it takes to book his third Champions League final appearance in four years, according to star striker Fernando Torres. "El Niño" says Benitez's overall approach to the two-legged tie will ensure they Kop it.
"Many teams play them as 90 minutes," says Torres. "But you have to look at the tie as 180 minutes. Rafa is very good at that and that is why he has such good results."
The decisive second leg at Stamford Bridge is set for Wednesday, April 30.
