I cannot believe the Cards would field trade talks for Matt Leinart. First he has never really been given a chance in Arizona since he has had a couple of years with the organization under his belt. Second, his numbers in the pre-season have been solid even though he has not made any big plays. Hey, Cards you knew when you drafted the guy he did not have a big arm, but he will have a high completion % and will not make mistakes. Give the guy a chance before you let him go. But, hey it is the Cardinals and Derek Anderson may be the answer, as he did so well with the Browns.

He doesn't want to put in the time and effort to become a quality quarterback. He is too busy trying to score off the field

He will end up on somebody's bench but that is about it.

i hate to say it but I think he might have stayed a year too long at USC. He could have been a number 1 with somebody else then who knows what would have happened.

Yeah I think the leash is getting shorter as per Leinart being a starting QB in the NFL with any team at this point. Maybe the Bills?

Derek Anderson had one strong season in Cleveland, but he hasn't been that awe-inspiring either, when you look at his entire body of work thus far.
