NOOOOOOOO say it ain't so.

If you thought Mike Vick’s reputation had nothing left to lose in Atlanta, you thought wrong. Vick recently admitted to an Atlanta radio station that he didn’t give 100 per cent while with the team, didn’t spend enough time in the film room and that he “was complacent at the time, somewhat lazy, I settled for mediocrity.”

Now even dog haters will turn on him.

This is no surprise. But even at less than 100% effort Vick had some good years in Atlanta. Not steller, but good.

Why don't enough people realise (or maybe I'm just talking with the wrong people) that Vick was never more than a guy with an NFL cornerback's speed & athleticism who happened to have NFL arm strength. That's it. Even when he was at his best: no more compliments were/are due him.
