Default Harry Kalas dies suddenly at ball park

Harry Kalas, the voice of the Philadelphia Phillies since 1971 collapsed in the broadcast booth before today's game with the Nationals.

As a long time Phillies fan, to me his voice had become synonomous with baseball in Philadelphia.

Nice tribute run tonight on EsPn, they did a nice job with it, and yes, that voice will live on forever won't it?

As much as he meant to the Phillies, he is also a big part of NFL Films. The great thing about a career like that is you will be immortalized by your voice, as that will live on forever.
