I wonder if he will manage to win the US Open this year? Still a lot of games to be played but the way he played makes it look easy to do.

I am of the opinion that few will bet against Nadal. His stamina is very convincing even though he has not reigned beyond the quarterfinals in Flushing NY. I think Federer will bounce back in U.S. Open and regain his glory to win 5th straight Flushing NY crown.

I agree. I think Federer rules these grounds and he will go all the way. Nadal is not going to make it easy for him though.

I'm a fan of Federer, but I'm just not sure if he can regain the powerhouse stature he had before. There's talk of him being ranked number 3 so I just don't know. Nadal is younger and is basically the energizer bunny that never stops hitting the ball back to the other guy! That said, I want Federer to win the US Open.

I had Nadal pegged as a mainly clay court guy, but taking Wimbledon corrected me on that. He seems to have a history of running out of gas this time of year, and Federer has four Opens under his belt. I'm really looking forward to seeing howe this plays out - Nadal's momentum or Federer's history at the Open?
