Aww come on. everyone wants to see a football game in the middle of a hurricane. And now you have went and spoiled our fun this year. But on the other hand, best to get it over with sooner than later. The stadium might be gone in a couple of days

Big deal. Up to the time of the decision, Gustav was still a tropical storm and moving glacially slow. I think the officials overreacted - but still, better safe than sorry.

They just might be trying to call the shots early to be safe about things. It does make some sense, right now I know about four people in G's path and they have already seen some serious damage. Would you really want resonsible if something that bad happened on your call?
