Default Looks dismal for the Yankees

Seems to me that whatever threads of hope there were for the NY Yankees to get in the playoffs, have being dashed by the Red Sox's latest win.

I know some fans did not see this coming but since Im not a fan of the yanks I was kind of hoping for it. If they cant do the work they need to back down and let someone do it who can. I dont want to see some crappy playoffs, I want to see some teams go at it like there is no tomorrow thats what makes it exciting.

Actually I think the fans saw it coming and was hoping against hope. The writing has being on the wall for a while now. I am sure they will rebuild and rebound.

Yea it was a huge defeat for the Yankees this year. There is always next year however. That is unless someone gets crazy with the Nukes

It's true that there is always next year, but i think the Yankees roster needs to cleaned of some junk. Some of these guys just cant seem to get over their own hype and they need to be cut to make way for some new blood who are willing to work.

Of course, I'm not exactly unbiased (not that I think my Sox are going to go all the way this year...), but sometimes the Yankees just leave me scratching my head. It's like the Yankees and Sox have switched personalities. The Jays' comeback the other day had to have sucked the life out of them. Not what you want going into three games against the Rays...
