I waited for what seemed SO long for the Olympics - and then the event just seemed to come and go. I thought they were very exciting especially the accomplishments of Phelps in the pool and those Jamaicans on the track.
A few glorious moments, hoped for and enjoyed. I didn't watch the closing ceremony, not much anyway. It's quite the pomp and circumstance to hand the games over from the host country to the next. I guess everyone was happy.
I lost $20 but back $50 on women's volleyball on some poor guy who must not have been paying attention.
Its nice when the money is easiley won. I did win a little but it was for the mens volleyball and I really wasnt sure how long most were going on for. Anyone know the longest run time?
I did not actually place any money best but I was boosting that guy Asafa Powell in the 100m finals. He ended up 4th. I would have lost too on the Jamaican women in the 4 x 100m relay since they failed to finish.
Looking forward to the winter olympics of course! What else is there?Just kidding. Anyhow, as for betting on any olympic games, I didn't do it. I'll keep my money on sports I understand and know more about.
