Seems like they're only bringing in the instant replay for the vast minority of the possible controversial calls that can happen. Maybe they're worried that if they allow instant replay in too many situations it'll kill the pace of games? I've just been wondering when (and if) they'll allow it for calls on steals, etc., which seem to raise a lot more controversy than home run calls...

Instant replays will definitely slow down the pace of the game but I rather that than some team winning an unfair call due to plain human error. There is sufficient technology to level the playing field.

I can appreciate any sport but this is going to be a pain when it lags the game down that bad. Look at out long it takes some people just to talk about a call let alone argue about what they all "see".
