The program was very long - over 4 hours - but I think the Chinese outdid themselves. The whole thing was awesome and I particularly liked the fireworks with the 29 giant footprints heading towards the stadium.

I thought the show was absolutely incredible. Some of it reminded me of cirque de sole. I can't believe those boxes in the middle going up and down were controlled with people in them. The drum/light thing was cool as well. This was much better than listening to some stupid pop star singing their latest US hit and calling them "artists".

I was WoWed by the Beijing Olympic Opening ceremony! It was spectacular. The artist's vision of China opening up to the world and historic presentation was very grand. All the acrobat performers were synchonized in perfect order. I really liked the 2008 drummers performing to an ancient dance and the Tai Chai dancers. The picturesque waterful, the fireworks, and costumes, art, music were fantastic. I was surprised to see Sarah Brightman singing- she is too good! Glad I didn't miss this, it was simply the best.

I am speechless. I loved every moment of the 2008 opening Olympics. I was glued to the entire extravaganza and it wasn’t boring.. Great work of art and very well organized.
