Can’t wait to watch the Olympic Opening ceremonies on August 8 and the sport events to follow. There’s going to be a show case presentation of competition going on over the game’s 17 days airing on NBC. Lots of excitement! The USA has dominated the Olympics with 2,197 medals. It’ll be interesting to see if Michael Phelps overtakes Mark Spitz’s impressive record.

Great line up but I’m going to be attentively glued to watching these Golden Girls chicks Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh when they play at the Beijing Olympic Beach Volleyball event on August 12. .Heck yea!!!!

I would love to see Phelps take home another world record. Hell, I'd like to see more than one world record broken at this year's olympics. Especially by the US

I can hardly wait for the Games myself. All of a sudden August 8 can't come soon enough. My favourite events will be on the track - the men and women's sprint races.

You bet, the 100-meter dash is a main event in my book that I won't miss. How is Tyson doing with his hamstring injury? Hope it does'nt spoil his chances at the Olympics.
Will sure be fascinating to see who will be the world's fastest man. There's stiff competition between triple world champ Tyson, Jamaica's Usain 'Lightening' Bolt, and Asafa Powell.
