Who will win 2008 US Open tennis singles titles?

Anyone planning to go to Flushing Meadows for the upcoming US Opens Tennis? Will Federer take the lead again? He has in his favor the fact that he won four back to back US Open crowns. Or maybe Nadal who is dominating the courts lately will be the reigning champ? How will Ivanovic, Sharapova, Kuznetsova, Williams sisters fare?
Please share your analysis/ betting predictions for US Open tennis winners?

I'll probably watch the event on TV..
I'm not writing Federer off my list and betting that he'll win this
time around. I think he'll hang in there. Nadal might be the one to throw
in the towel?

Also, betting on Sharapova to win even though Venus has a good shot at it too.

I think Nadal will contine to dominate the courts throughout the entire season. I hope I'm right cause I plan to lay some cash down on several of the matches once I see the lay of the land this season.

I'm having doubts about Federer- he's coming up short and seems to be losing ground. Nadal looks to be more confident and is now on a winning streak. Djokovic the reigning Australian Open champ and Davydenko are doing great too. The Williams sisters, I just heard, have injuries and that may put a damper on their performance. Jankovic was my initial pick had she taken the No 1 spot in rankings at hardcourt event in East West Bank Classic, but she lost out to Safina. I'm betting on Ivanovic.
