Default Brett Favre Asks the Green Bay Packers for Release

Dear lord, it's really going to happen. Brett Favre is taking the first steps to un-retire from the NFL. According the Chris Mortensen of ESPN Favre and his agent have sent a letter to the Packers asking for his release on Friday. Favre is currently on the Packers' retired list, but if he asks to be un-retired, ...

As much as I love and respect Brett, I thyink the Packers should give him the release, or trade him. I think he should stay in retirement but if he plans to un-retire, the Packers should move on without him and give the younger talents their opportunity.

I’ve just been informed that there’s going to be a lot of rallying activity going on at
Lambeau Field with loads of rallying die hard Brett Favre
fans..
They plan to jam pack the field every Sunday until Favre is reinstated to
Green Bay Packers as starting QB.
That’s the spirit.

I don't think he will be reinstated. They will let him loose, because the lastest is that the Packers haved filed charges against the Vikings for alleged communications with Favre. So the fans can rally all they want, but I don't think it's going to matter at this point.
