Interesting article...how times are changing. The sports arena is not just for men, and hasn't been for a while, and some of the more stereotypical jobs are being taken by the non-traditional stepping up to the plate, as it were.

I say if you are qualified to do the job, then go for it! It shouldn't soley be because of your gender. From what I can tell from the article, she has the experience and qualifications do do a good job. Give her a chance, and see how it goes.
