Youkilis sent to eye specialist

Boston Red Sox first baseman Kevin Youkilis will not play in Tuesday's game against Arizona because of a contusion under his right eye, sustained in Monday's contest. Boston manager Terry Francona sent Youkilis to an eye specialist after the first baseman arrived at Fenway Park Tuesday afternoon. Francona said Youkilis still had watering in the eye, even though the swelling had gone down.
