Why do you gamble?

Why do you gamble and/or bet on sports? Do you do it for the money? Is it just a fun hobby?

Basically, I decided that since I spend so much time watching sports and playing poker, I might as well try to make a dollar here and there at the same time. Great move on my part. Now I'm hooked.

It's all about the $$$. But it doens't hurt to have $ on the big game either...makes it more fun to watch.

I don't bet on MY own teams though!! That's a bad move IMO
