That's awful! I hope his treatment goes well and that he doesn't have another relapse. It is good to know that he is smart enough to take this time to recover

I always feel sad when I hear about a person getting cancer. This is the second time around and I hope he doesn't have another relapse or something after he gets his treatment

Going through skin cancer has to be pretty tough for this guy, I wonder how this will effect the team. I hope this guy takes his time and recovers. He sounds like quite the trooper.

This hits close to home. I was at UCONN when he signed on and I've been a huge fan since, not just because it's my alma mater, but he took the Huskies places that were a pleasure to watch and root for.

I think from all I have been reading that his spirits are pretty high and thats something that is always a plus for anyone going through cancer no matter the type. I know the treatments are harsh but he seems very optimistic, I hope the team around him is the same as many going through this type of thing need the positive notes of those who surround them.

I read in another thread that he has gotten the cancer removed as well as some other stuff like lymph nodes. I hope he recovers all right and pushes on

Glad to hear that he got the cancer removed. My grandmother had skin cancer and fortunately everything went fine once she got through treatment. I'm hoping for a strong recovery.

I am sure the blessings and prayers of loyal fans are with many, but you have to wonder of those that employee him are taking this time to look up replacments for him as well.

He is will still be the coach except he won't be active is what I have been hearing. Is this correct? Is Calhoun going to be staying on as coach? I hope the guy has a speedy recovery
