    Default Nutt to Kansas?

Is Kansas a better job than Ole Miss? Maybe they have a better chance to grab a division crown every once in a while but winning the conference at KU is not going to happen very often with Texas and Oklahoma around.

People should be fighting over jobs in the Big East and ACC where the competition is such that you might wind up in the BCS more easily than in Big 12 or SEC.

i hope the jayhawks get turner gill from buffalo. his credit for building a half-decent program in football siberia (look at the NFL's bills, for christ's sake) is long overdue. gill is a nebraska alum and i'm a huskers fan, which hurts. but i like how Big Red is doing with Bo Pelini. at the end of the day, it's time for gill to get a bump up - even if he's an alumni of a kansas rival. plus he's got some good basketball to watch out there in the breadbasket.

Kansas is a basketball state like Indiana. I really don't know if anyone cares. I mean look at the Chiefs. Will it really matter who they get?

dunno if I agree with that, Chiefs fans are extremely passionate; Arrowhead stadium is always an atmosphere and I'm sure Chiefs fans are pissed their team has shit the bed.

The general thesis with Kansas though, I agree - but Turner Gill should be good for that program. Now maybe Mangino can take the time to diet.
