The Spread

Obviously there has been a huge uptake of spread offenses in the NCAA over the last decade. Some teams use it to run and others to pass. I was just wondering whether people like this development. Personally I don't mind it but I miss the days when schools were defined by their style of play rather than copying hot trends.

I wish the Huskies would run a run-n-shoot type offense though, we'll see what Sark does this year with Jake Locker...watch out for this kid guys. Best unkept secret in Division 1A football.

Personally I have never been a fan of the spread offense.

Why not?

I loved the old Houston Oilers and that run n shoot...fun times
