IMO it's hard to argue with the pre-season hype surrounding the Crimson Tide. Not great value in it, but my pick for 2009 SEC is on BAMA!

Let me be the first to say I like the ole ball coache's Gamecocks to be the team to beat this year.

Week 1 they'll cruise by NC State, and then in Week 2 they'll be the dogs and pull off a big win over Georgia which will get their season off to a great start...hang on and enjoy the ride

sorry man, but no way SC's taking it. florida will definitely take the East, alabama will take the West and florida should handle 'bama in the title game, nick saban or no nick saban. florida has a defense that is so good they wouldn't look stupid in the NFL. RIGHT NOW.

Florida still has a chance to get tripped up by Georgia as I think the Bulldogs are going to be the surprise team this year in the SEC.

I'm changing my mind...I'm liking the Gators football odds again. A lot of it depends on weather or not Chris Rainey can fill Percy Harvin's shoes and take advantage of the attention on Tebow.
