If Notre Dame has a great year, which I think they will. Then Jimmy Clausen will have to be in the mix! Plus NBC needs a reason for people to watch every saturday.
Blue Devil
Losing is Natures Way of Saying You Suck!
I very seriously doubt he will get Heisman hype but Dez Bryant from Oklahoma State is a freaking stud at WR. Zac Robinson @ QB isn't bad either.
I am not sure he will qualify as a sleeper but I think Prior at Ohio State will be in the mix. He is certainly not a favourite with Tebow and Bradford coming back but if he shows well against USC and OSU rumbles through the Big Ten then he has a chance. He is probably going to be one of those guys whose stats are not eye-popping but is always making key plays to win games. Since he is such a physical freak they are often the kinds of plays that no one else could make.
I had to click back to find this article, but I was reading this AM actually
Here are the top 10 contenders for the 2009 Heisman chase among guys almost certain to stay in school from yardbarcker.com
Jacquizz Rodgers, RB Oregon State
Dan LeFevour, QB Central Michigan
Max Hall, QB BYU
Nate Davis, QB Ball State
Jahvid Best, RB California
Terrelle Pryor, QB Ohio State
Colt McCoy, QB Texas
Tim Tebow, QB Florida
Zac Robinson, QB Oklahoma State
I don't know if any of these guys have declared though, the other guy in the article was Sanchez, but article was done before he entered draft
I am pretty sure Nate Davis put himself into the draft. Why else would his coach leave for San Diego State.
