Default NJIT names Engles new hoops coach
New Jersey Institute of Technology introduced Jim Engles as its new men's basketball coach on Thursday, replacing Jim Casciano, who resigned in February.

Engles, who was the lead assistant coach at Columbia, agreed to a five-year contract. He has held coaching positions at Wagner College and Rider.
